We are currently looking for a Senior Product Owner whose daily focus will be, managing, and prioritizing functionality requests for BricsCAD OEM as well as ensuring revenue growth through OEM partnerships.
This is a very technical topic, and the ideal candidate will be expected to understand and comment on technology issues while weighing business priorities. The person in this role will report to the Executive Product Owner for the BricsCAD as a Platform (Baap)Team.
Your responsibilities include
- Supporting the team in building the product roadmap by:
-defining the OKRs (objectives and key results for the upcoming release)
-validating roadmap in accordance with sales and partner input
- Grooming and prioritizing the development backlog and ensuring that the team:
-is focused on the high value elements and roadmap commitments
-is clear on the requirements (problem, goal, objective, acceptance (ie story writing)
- Ensuring successful partnership and revenue growth with select application developers
- Preparing content needed to ensure that the management teams and partners are engaged and aware of the product roadmap, progress, and risk management strategies
- Defining, and monitoring success of the assigned product area and delivered features
- Participating in the scrum / agile ceremonies from inception, planning, review, and update
Your profile
- 7-10 years of proven work experience related to Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, acquired in CAD user, product manager, or software developer roles, ideally a combination of these roles.
- Experience in leading the efforts of a small team.
- Organized and striving to determine and deliver the pertinent level of detail for every task.
- An excellent written and verbal communicator, with business-level English proficiency. Verbal skills in Dutch and/or French are a bonus.
- Able to realistically plan own work, and work independently and reliably.
- Good working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed, and rapidly changing organization.
Knowledge of any of the following is a plus: Field Sales Support and/or Business development best practices
